Welcome To PRONTO LTD
Our company "Pronto" is a registered Egyptian company for export, import, supplies and commercial agencies.
The Company was thought of by the dire need of specialty products, and services in the pharmaceutical wholesale and retail sectors. It was then decided by a group of senior academics and business people working for international pharmaceutical and chemical western companies to set-up Pronto.
We, at Pronto, intend to deploy every possible resource to serve our principals and market. Our Vision and Strategies encompass these philosophies. We have an appropriate financial responsibility, robust operational standards, and rigorous compliance systems, and undertake Good Supply Practice. Of our many goals is to work closely with MoH and hospitals to prepare for their needs, and provide them with the specifications of the products we handle for their local and national tenders.

Having completed a thorough market research, the management believes, however, that its creative marketing strategy, forward-looking statements about our current and expected performance trends, growth plans, business goals and other matters meet our expectations.
Pronto shall be uniquely situated to perform due diligence in order to protect the integrity of its pharmaceutical agency/distributionship contracts/ agreements.
Our pharmaceutical distribution and services encompass the Pronto’s staffing, consulting and specialty drug importation services, as well as its staying focused on distribution rather than branching into more lucrative parapharmaceutical business.
Egypt is already the largest pharmaceutical drug sales market in the Middle East; it shall remain so for many years to come. Driven in part by large-scale urbanization, increased number of specialized hospitals and doctors, an aging population and rising incomes are other important growth factors. However, Egypt’s pharmaceutical market offers tough challenges.
The current Egyptian setting is characterized by:
• Proliferation of specialized hospitals and polyclinics, and sophisticated clinical diagnostic centres,
• Availability of oncology facilities for screening, diagnosis and treatment,
• Widespread presence of generics,
• Low affordability of medication especially for chronic disorders and ailments. Cancer is of a different issue,
• Government price controls and restriction,
• A complex but not sophisticated regulatory environment,
• Interest of some drug importers to get-rich-soon and availing only quick-sale items,
• Increase expansion in herbal medication even for incurable ailments, as alternative to unavailability of specialized treatments,
• Little medical insurance coverage in rural areas where the majority of the population lives.

While the global economic meltdown continues exerting undesirable effects on every country, we are confident that the Egyptian pharmaceutical market will continue to expand. We have put this in consideration as well as additional challenges including the capacity to deal with expanding markets and channels.
As agent/distributor, we staunchly believe that Pronto’s success is tied in to a principal’s success, with interests aligned to a principal’s sales and marketing plan and motivation to drive channel and price control in line
with the principal’s strategy. We, further, believe that the availability of timely information on sales, marketing strategy and inventory creates the opportunity for a proactive response to market conditions.
We shall use our accumulated experience to plan for wider geographical coverage operations; employ our ability to respond to higher regulatory hurdles and a constantly changing environment; how
to secure accurate, timely and complete market information; and increasing logistics costs, among others.

In addition to gaining national tender business, we shall play a different role in the supply chain. We have agreement with Egypt’s largest chain pharmacy (37 outlets and is expanding) to acting as an extended arm in the retail market.
